Support the Art Center Foundation

The Palo Alto Art Center Foundation relies on the generous support of its community members (just like you!) to expand the reach and impact of the Art Center. Your contribution and membership help to support everything we do! There are many ways to give via check, credit card, stock, and much more!

Leave a Legacy

Make a lasting contribution through your estate by way of a bequest, insurance policy, IRA rollover, or charitable remainder trust. Your professional financial and legal advisors can help determine the right contribution for you.

In Memory & Honor

We always welcome Memorial Gifts, which provide an opportunity to remember a loved one, friend or colleague. Your ‘In Honor of Gifts’ can commemorate a special person’s birthday, anniversary, holiday or other important milestone. For Memorial Gifts, a note is sent to the family and for In Honor of Gifts, a note is sent to the honoree, notifying them of your thoughtfulness.

Greatest Need:

Help the Foundation to enhance the Art Center’s current programs, expand them in the future, and create new art experiences for the entire community. The Foundation will put your dollars to work where the need is greatest.

Children’s Programs:

The Foundation helps the Art Center’s programs to reach larger audiences and to bring art to underserved youth and family populations through the following initiatives:

  • Project Look—The Art Center’s school tour program serves more than 5,000 schoolchildren every year with an interactive exhibition tour followed by a related hands-on art activity. The Foundation supports the general operation of this program and offers free scholarships and transportation to schools.
  • Family Programs—The Art Center offers enriching art experiences for children and parents through a variety of free family programs that serve more than 1,000 people each year. The Foundation funds artists’ fees and art materials for the popular free Family Days and outreach events throughout the community.
  • Cultural Kaleidoscope—This unique artists-in-the-schools program links the neighboring and diverse communities of Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, and East Menlo Park by building bridges through the arts. The Foundation supports the general operation of this program benefiting 500 school children annually and funds all of the teaching artists, art supplies, and student transportation.
  • Children’s Fine Art—Serving 2,000 children and teens, the Art Center’s class and workshop program helps children and teens develop skills in the arts and experience the power of creative expression. The Foundation provides operational support to this program and helps to purchase equipment and supplies.
