ART DIALOGUES ART DIALOGUES tours are designed for adults and are free. They usually last from 30 to 45 minutes. The tours are led by Palo Alto Art Center volunteers who undertake intensive training about each exhibit and are dedicated to helping everyone understand the work on display. Public tours are given at 2pm, Saturdays, during PAAC Exhibitions. There are no tours on a holiday weekend nor inbetween exhibitions. "Private" tours, including "family" tours (geared for teens and adults), are available after 2 pm, Tuesday~Friday; evenings Tuesday~Thursday; and weekends. Project LOOK! tours are for school groups of children and cost $1.25 per student (in Palo Alto or Ravenswood school district) or $50.00 per class outside the Palo Alto/Ravenswood school district. The school visit includes a tour and a hands-on activity. The tours last 90 minutes and are offered at 9:15, 10:45, and 12:30, Tuesday~Friday; occasionally other times by arrangement. Free tours can be arranged for smaller groups of teens by ART DIALOGUES docents (afternoons, weekends or evenings (Tu~Th) or by Project LOOK! (between Tuesday and Friday, daytime).
