Volunteers are key to the daily operations of the Art Center.

A dynamic team of over 200 volunteers provides on-going support for exhibitions and special events at the Palo Alto Art Center. Days and hours are flexible to meet individual needs. New volunteers are welcome throughout the year. No art background is required. All training will be provided. Types of Volunteer Jobs

Host at opening receptions
Staff The Gallery Shop
Assist with Art Center Events/Activities
- Help with the annual Great Glass Pumpkin Patch
- Lead Project LOOK! school group tours
- Welcome visitors to the galleries
- Usher/take tickets at lectures and special events
Assist with mailing announcements, newsletters, etc.
- Coordinate volunteers for Art Center-sponsored events
- Assist with data entry
- Plan trips and tours
- Decorate for events
- Lead adult tours
- Make signs
