"WHERE ART ORIGINATES: ARTISTS & THE CREATIVE PROCESS": A
lecture series featuring nine 2009 Djerassi Program artists. The series runs April 9 to November 5, 2009 in the Palo Alto Art Center Auditorium.

WHAT DEGAS and MONET SAW: Wednesday June 24, 7:30 to 9 p.m. Combining historical documentation with medical research, Stanford opthamologist Dr. Michael Marmor has computerized images of artworks by Monet and Degas to replicate how the artists saw their creations through their retinal disease. FREE

Palo Alto Clay & Glass Festival: July 11 and 12. Mark your calendar for the 17th annual sale of traditional and contemporary clay and glass on the grounds of the Palo Alto Art Center.
